summer loving...

cannot believe it is almost September...and thank god we have had a beautiful summer...

and lots to celebrate...myself and Martin got engaged...exciting times ahead...


my lovely Mum had her 80th birthday...so more family celebrations..

 

 

and the shop has been so busy over the summer months..with lots of new and old customers..

 

 

and we had a lovely visit from one of my card suppliers cards by Alec..and his beautiful new wife..all the way from the Lake District..

 

and lovely handmade hearts..

and now we are getting prepared for the festive season..

New Month...

what a brilliant summer we have been enjoying...everyone is in great form and high spirits...an

d we are really appreciating the simple pleasures....like getting clothes dried outside.....whilst I enjoyed getting the august windows finished..
some beautiful new stock of bags, scarves, cushions and wedding stuff..

this window is causing a bit of a stir...everyone loves Tunnocks..

and no wedding is complete without a church pew...love this one handmade and painted in annie sloan™ Louis blue..

I took a stroll....in the country park...our local park...so well maintained...

this week I had the privilege of visiting a customers beautiful garden...set in the country..what a pleasure..

full of interesting features...this is their outside utility room..."washroom"...covered in creeping ivy..

what a busy week....schools out for summer....and we had a creative week making personalised teacher gifts...just shows how everyone little pupil appreciate and love their teachers..

so despite the rush...we just kept calm and carried on...

and life is full of different celebrations...these hens were off to Blackpool to celebrate..

 

 

and birthday gifts for two little boys..
